yes exactly the same that goes on rims . it can be peeled off when ever you want it to(and won't chip off like regular water based paint when dried up) , but the matte finish you get is just perfect. hope there aren't many little kids around your car who might peel it off for utter satisfaction? :p. its durable enough btw plus your original dash will be protected.
