It will take them a long long time before they get back to any sort of normality, but I'm sure everyone's thought and prayers will be answered. That goes not only for the people of Christchurch, but also for the people in Sendai, Japan.
Yeah I can only imagine how quickly the cars (particularly older ones) in Pakistan start deteriorating due to the extreme temperatures you guys experience. There must be a lot of cracked dashboards around. I have a hard enough time coping when it's 25C outside, so I can't even begin to think what 45C would feel like :o

Just a quick update: Bought another electric driver's seat from the junkyard yesterday (out of another SE-G model). The motors in this one seem to be a lot stronger than my current one, so I suspect it hasn't been used much. I'm planning on just swapping over the rails and chucking out the seat. I'll keep the other electric rail for spare parts.
