I have been reading this thread from the start and I must say that your car is in fabulous condition!

And really sorry about the earthquake victims. My thoughts and prayers are with them and their families.

The problem in Pakistan is the extreme weather. It plays havoc with car interiors and exteriors. Imagine 45C in summer and -3 or -4 in winter. Blazing sun for about 300 days a year. Little rain. 1993 Corollas are in quite poor condition now. But yours is simply in too good condition. And the attention to detail is amazing! Will follow this thread for any updates. Keep up the good work!

Yeah I can only imagine how quickly the cars (particularly older ones) in Pakistan start deteriorating due to the extreme temperatures you guys experience. There must be a lot of cracked dashboards around. I have a hard enough time coping when it's 25C outside, so I can't even begin to think what 45C would feel like :o

Just a quick update: Bought another electric driver's seat from the junkyard yesterday (out of another SE-G model). The motors in this one seem to be a lot stronger than my current one, so I suspect it hasn't been used much. I'm planning on just swapping over the rails and chucking out the seat. I'll keep the other electric rail for spare parts.

Check out what I just bought from the junkyard :D:D:D...I literally gasped when I saw it (and I never gasp ). As you guys know, I've already got an Air Fantasy unit in my car which I miraculously managed to find a few months ago, so to find another one of these extremely rare parts was beyond belief. It came with the hoses, fittings and the loom. Talk about a lucky day! :D. Will probably keep it as a spare.

MAN,you got some really rare stuff there,wont find them here in PK cars!!!!or in PK's junkyard's and another thing which i have noticed is that here the car's interior is different form the ones which we have abroad,although the models are same but ours are well equipped!!!

Thanks bro. Yeah the JDM SE Limited model comes with a very well equipped interior, such as a push button air conditioning control panel with climate air, power folding mirrors, double story storage compartment etc.

Are you talking about the roof mounted Air Purifier and the fabric armrest?

Ok cool (H). I installed the fabric armrest the other day but it's a slightly different colour to my Corolla GT seats so I'm going to get some navy coloured fabric dye.

Here's my latest purchase, a TRD 3-point strut brace . I've wanted one of these for a long time, but they're discontinued so it was a bit hard to find one. Fortunately the opportunity came up last week. When it arrived it had a few bits of paint missing, and since I'm so fussy, I decided to send it to the powder coaters and get it completely redone.

Here's some pics of how I received it, how it looked when I got it back from the powder coaters, and how it looks after I installed it today:

Thank you sir (H). The benefit of the strut bar is that it makes the chassis a lot more rigid when cornering.

Usually,when you try to refashion a corolla it is very less likely that you'll be able to do that without turning it into a 'rice rocket'.It just looks chincy and plain cheap or gimcrack sort of a car.
But you,ve just done that very tastefully and decorously.
