Thanks man :). There are a number of places here who can do the swap. The BT actually works best with the stock air intake box. Short ram intakes make it sound better but rob the engine of power, and cold air intakes rob the engine of top end power. Toyota spent huge amounts of time and money doing research when designing the 4A-GE and there's a real science behind it. I found that the engine is more responsive and seems smoother throughout the rev-range with the standard airbox now in place :). I might go for some 80mm trumpets in future, but for now I'm enjoying the engine in it's stock state (H)

Hahaha wish I could bro :P. I use a Canon 600D DSLR and for editing I use Photomatix Pro to convert RAW to HDR.

I installed the trumpets today. Sounds absolutely amazing. Like music to my ears. I knew they were going to be loud, but not THAT loud, not that I'm complaining

Rigged up my old cold air intake piping to it in an attempt to route force-fed cold air to the trumpets from the pipe positioned behind the front bumper. Will probably keep it there as it can't do any harm, but will change the blue silicone joiner to a black one so it doesn't look so out of place.

Didn't have a chance to do any drive-by videos today, but took a couple of videos of me revving it, which I have compiled into this YouTube video:

Yes, engine noise is much louder under full acceleration.

There's a risk that I'll suck in dust, sand, grit, stones, birds (lol) etc, but I decided that the risk of running them open with no filtration was greater than the disadvantages of having the flow restricted by using filters.

Although, the chances of a stone being sucked in there is very very slim. Airborne sand is also an unlikely occurrence unless I drive through a sandstorm (don't even think we have those here in NZ, lol). I stay away from roadworks and loose gravel at the best of times so it'll be second nature for me to keep away from any potential hazards

I replaced the factory screws that hold the trumpets on with some much nicer looking hex key screws today. Simple yet effective :). I also took some proper shots of the new engine bay:

My ITB splash guard arrived from the US today so I wasted no time in chucking it on. It's made by Techno Toy Tuning and is brushed aluminum, specifically for the Blacktop. It's really best suited to smaller trumpets such as 50mm and 70mm, since my 110mm ones are about the same length as the guard itself, but should still help prevent any water and stones etc from making their way further up into the engine bay. It ties in nicely with the trumpets and makes them look a bit more at home, while also acting as a gasket between the ITB's.
