Thanks!
Thanks man. I think I'm obsessed with taking photos of it, haha. Hopefully you guys won't get sick of seeing it by the time I'm done
That sucks. I'd understand not being allowed to use 20% tint or lower, but 35% should be made legal. Mainly because it helps to stop cancer causing UV rays. Speaking of factory tinted glass, that's something I've never quite understood when it comes to the law. My brother's Caldina GT-T has 20% factory tinted glass in the rear, but it's perfectly legal. If I went out and bought a base model Caldina which has no factory tinted glass and I tinted it with 20% tints, it would be illegal...:o. It's quite a ridiculous law really.
Good question . It was a free choice. The old motor had done 228,000km and the valve stem seals were slowly starting to go. It was nothing serious and only puffed a very small amount of smoke on start-up, but the timing belt also needed changing, so I decided that it was more practical to replace the engine with one that had done much less mileage and to replace the timing belt on that one instead. It also gave me great peace of mind that the engine wouldn't cause me any future trouble either
I subjected my old engine to a little bit of torture the day before removal, as it was going to be melted down at a scrap metal dealer anyway. Here's a video I made (don't worry, I never treat any of my engines like this usually) -

Thanks bro. That means a lot coming from a Honda guy :D. I always enjoy taking photos of my car whenever I find a new spot. People must think I'm trying to sell it every time I bring out my tripod and camera and start snapping a whole heap of pics
Thank you very much! . Great to know that you have an AE100 in white too (H). If you've got a CarDomain page, feel free to add me as a friend
