@ saadzae92 - You are right about everyone using the BZ Touring headlights, especially the cheap eBay knock-offs. Thanks for the picture of the Corolla using the OEM corner lights. That actually looks nice. Maybe slightly duller than the headlights, but I like the look of them more than the wagon corner lights with the bright orange reflector inside.
Haha, I would love to go down the 3S-GTE route if I had the cash. My brother has an OEM 3S-GTE in his 1998 Toyota Caldina GT-T and it goes like a bat out of hell. Easily beats Evos etc and only has a Mine's ECU and cold air intake. Can only imagine what it would be like in my car since it weighs a lot less, although getting traction would be a struggle :D. I've seen it done a few times in the past, but apparently there was a lot of custom work involved. You may have heard of it, but Toyota released a very rare 'TRD 2000' Corolla AE101 model, which had a factory 3S-GE Beams engine in it. There are a couple of videos on YouTube. I have a couple of photos from the brochure if you haven't see it too.
Would definitely opt for the C56 transmission. The C160 is quite a lot weaker, and the ratios aren't as good. Easily to find a C56 too :). Oh yes, I quite like that BZ touring wagon front bumper in that photo as well. I've never really been a fan of the US G Touring wagon bumper with the dual fogs though. Kind of looks like someone has done a simple copy and paste when designing it , but some people absolutely love them. It's been nice talking to you bro. Oh nice! Sounds like a fun project :D. Looking forward to seeing the pics. Post a link in here once you have the photos uploaded (H)
Thanks a lot!! I'm glad you like my HDR photos. It's often hard to photograph white cars in bright sunlight, so the HDR process makes things a whole lot easier. Glad you like my car too
