Good to know that everyone is safe. In one of the photos the tyre appears to have large gash in the sidewall which seems quite odd. There is also a faint red circle drawn around it. Is that drawn on the tyre or is this a scanned photo?

what is the date stamp on the tyres?what is the speed rating of the tyres?what was the speed at the time the tyre failed?what were the road conditions like when the tyre burst?what was the tyre pressure? (you can check another tyre)?
