Thanx again for your appreciaiton. It is hard making a choice of a car anywhere in the world and the next car that comes along always makes one re-think a bit. I think i made the right choice having driven the car around . A few pics of the car in the folder which i'll post so you guys can get another view of it!....

ALSO, to give you guys an idea of the used car market here, a pic of a 2004 Skoda(India) Octavia 54000 km on the clock, fully loaded for INR6.5lac...has a VW diesel engine in it...the blue Hyundai)India) Elantra on the Octavia's right,2005 model INR6lac, low mileage, petrol engine, also fully loaded....this dealer's prepping/service garage was in a grungy motor alley full of retread tire shops and small-time mechanics...i went there 'cause i was curious to see how the auto business functions here..kind of, atleast!...

my last pic...both rear views!...a 2007 Mahindra Scorpio...has 1.5 lac worth of ICE in it(that's what i was told) was sold for INR8lac...the price is high 'cause of the sound system and it has Pirelli tires...looked nice..all the cars here are sold...they come here to get checked , prepped and some makeup before handing over to their new owners...also a 2006 Honda(India) Accord automatic V6 which was sold for INR11lac...low mileage...i think i cut a good deal with my SX4...now you know why Maruti sells 600,000 plus cars in the Indian market in a year!!...Cheers!

The SX4 is a new product line from Suzuki sold in North America, Europe , Japan and India.The SX4 sedan is manufactured in Hungary and India. The SX4 line is a collaborative effort between Suzuki Motor and FIAT. The SX4 made in India is all-Indian ground up. Every component including engine is manufactured locally. The list price of my car brand new is 7.60lac.With tax/regn./insurance it adds up to INR8.18 on the road. I(my company actually!) bought this car used (7months) and that's why i got it for 7lacs.Since insurance is paid thru JUne 2008, the coverage is being transferred to the new owner.I saved the company some money!. New cars depreciate terribly in India, which is fast becoming a matured car market. Different car models come and go!.
