LEK was registration series was from 1974. This is discontinued now and the authorities called back all old series registered vehicles for issuance of new numbers. Its the same car my friend

That noise is diagnosed but not sorted yet. Air conditioning and music system are done. Did some tweaking with engine tuning and its performing better day by day. Petrol consumption is also improving but not up to mark yet. Its used 2 3 days in a week and a charm to drive

you got the music sorted out? dayyum you are working fast. i still have to sort out the hole in the dashboard on my 1303.

BTW after the engine overhaul did you have to do a run in? is the engine smoother now after the run in? I still have only managed 500km since my rebuild and hte engine is still "tight" so i have quite some time till i can "run" her hard.

run in helped with engine smoothnes. We tried our best with clearances but still real thing came out after run in of about 500 miles. Now it feels good. About music. No holes just placement under the metal part of dash board.

We had a test run on motorway (With AC). Maximum speed acheived was 78 mph but comfortable cruising range was 65-75 mph

man this reminds me of old days when we had a 74 corolla STATION WAGON, it was a very nice car but i just hated the frypan(carby) under the hood!
