Today while surfing on internet, found add of Cressida 1981 of Toyota local dealer of Saudia (Abdul Latif Jameel Co. Ltd.)

@xulfiqar... zulfiqar bhai finally the oil pressure gauge starts working. Its a DIY and I opened the complete instrument cluster, when I opened it found that the needle is not in its place and bracket and at that time I remembered when Father (may his soul rest in peace) opened instrument cluster once long time back for cleaning pupose and I think he forget to adjust the needle. So I adjusted it and bingo..

At the time of ignition switch means still car not started..

@xulfiqar... zulfiqar bhai one more thing I want to ask, you may think that in ko ata jata kuch hy nai pta kahan se uth kr aa jaty hyn...

The question is that when I put the key at ignition not start the oil gauge went to high.. and when I started the car oil gauge comes to low slowly slowly..

One more thing here I want to inform you that when I disconnect the voltage regulator still my all lights or instrument cluster is at on.. so I think that now there is problem in alternator...

Purchased new alternator.. OEM Japan made..

Because old one needs too much cleaning due to steering oil leakage and even after cleaning not confirmed it will work or not.. and one part is also damaged, tried to find on all shops but not to avail.. old alternator pics

MashAllah, Amazing Car Faisal Bhai..
Cressida has always been my love. I remember the good old days when my father had 1886 Cressida which was amazing. Next he upgraded to 1994 model. He spent around 35 years in Saudia and never kept anything other than Cressida. The car was amazing with massive power of rear wheel drive. I still remember the Big R22 mentioned on the engine. Would give anything to buy that car again here in Pakistan....

No doubt Cressida is every ones love... here in Saudia even those people who have Cressida they treated them like Girl Friends... Even they didnt want to sell, if any body wants neat and clean Cressidas are expensive as Used new model cars... No doubt all gens of Cressida are its best... even I got too many time offers for selling but I refused.. MASHALLAH its 26th year of her with me.. My father also lived in Saudia for 35 Years... and in Year 2010 he passed away and buried here in Jeddah..

Even I love to driver her, smooth, heavy and powerful... After driving her, when I sit in Corolla I feel like am driving a Toy car... No doubt Cressidas are best to Keep....

@ Xulfiqar... Zulfiqar bhai want to discuss one thing, the oil level gauge in cluster is not worjing properly, even after changing the sensor.

When the car ignition switch is at on position the needle went to high

And when I started the car, the needle slowly comes down and stopped at low and stayed there until the car is switched off.

When the car is started again, same happens.. at ON position needle goes to high and stays there until started the car and when the car started it comes down again and stays at low..

I am need of Master Window Switch Panel for my Cressida... I need help from all of the Members from Pakistan, Middle East or Europe... Tried here alot to find in Junkyards but uptil now no to avail.. So thought to ask from all of Pakwheels community...

You need to ask someone from UAE as you have LHD. In Pakistan is different side so fitting and positioning of buttons will be different.

I think there will be no issue in fitting of LHD and RHD, because its decoration panel is straight...

Finally ALHAMDULILLAH... almost all of the mechanical work is done except for minor issues which are sorted by the time...

Now heading towards some of the critical parts (why am saying critical because of difficulty in finding)...

1. Sunroof need replacement, because it is rusted from edges inside and outside... Still searching
   
   

2. Windows Master Switch control already mentioned above.. (still searching)
   
   

3. Center AC Vents .. Blue color ... (still Searching)

Future upgrades and items are also planned..

1. Carburetor .. Already using Malaysian made (Hames), but planning to get hold on the Original Japanese one neat and clean

2. Engine Compartment Fuse box .. Already using and got from junkyard but not in good nick, no doubt am fulfilling its purpose but trying to get hold on for the GL version.

3. Inside cabin Fuse Box ... Original one body got cracked and eaten by Rat, ALHAMDULILLAH it didnt ate the wires and fuses.

4. Power Antenna with OEM Power Antenna Switch
   
   

5. Power Side view mirrors, will try to get hold from 1983 - 1984 model with switch
   
   

6. Original Wheel / hub Caps 1981 - 1982 model
   
   

or 1983 - 1984 model

1. All window switch controls for other 3 doors if got hand on master switch control earlier other for all 4 Doors..

2. Center Armrest Console including Gear Console and Tape / Cassette Console..

3. Roof Chrome Strips

4. Last but not the least one Complete Paint Job (Restoration)
