Thanks Hassan yeah the FD2R are ranging from $40k to $50k depending on the model if its a facelift 2009+ or pre facelift 2007-08, kms travelled and condition. The Golf R and this 2007 TypeR are about the same price.

Hassan I haven’t purchased this FD2R, there is a possibility i swap my Golf R with this FD2R tomorrow, i test drove it but not on the road as it was not registered yet, just drove it in the compound, i found it a bit stiffer than FN2 and EP3 comparing all at stock suspension, FD2R gearbox make it special really but i will know when i drive it a bit more

yeah still thinking about it but there is a strong possibility, the Golf is faster newer and a better car but even after 10 years from now the FD2 will stay as strong as it is today, cannot say the same thing about Golf R

The CRX EF8 deal didn’t go ahead btw, the buyer texted me this morning that he is stuck overseas due to family issue indefinitely, on the up side i get to keep the car and the deposit he paid

I was seriously thinking about NSX, Manual NSX are selling between $120K and $150K and a Skyline GTR R35 cost $90 to $100K. If you are given the choice which one will you buy?
Both were built to slay the expensive super cars and R35 GTR has also the same if not more recognition in the JDM community as NSX. Performance wise the old NSX is no way near R35 as R35 are a lot newer.
When i think about that then i stop thinking about buying an NSX. The new NSX, i don't like it and i can't afford it at this stage.

No doubt about that, just talking performance and technology wise they are far apart. R35 is always tested and compared with the new NSX never the old one
