Thank you for taking the time to explain it. The "its all up to the officers discretion" part scares me, to be honest. What if the officer is having a bad day?
That is why any complaint resulting from officer's discretion almost always gets thrown out by the judge if challenged in the court.
There is no need to argue this since window tint is not the topic of this thread. I was just curious and even more surprised now that it is left to officer's discretion rather than having them measure the tint using the light meter like they do in most jurisdictions in the US.
