for my knowledge, how to know which pumps are company operated and which are private?

The have Company operated company owned written on their sign boards

Caltex fuels are the best. Shell fuels are the worst

my 96 civic required 90 ron petrol, so have to mix hobc and normal petrol ( when i can get hobc that is)

car will knock on normal petrol if run above 4k rpm..

pso petrol has reduced acceleration.. sort of like car is being choked or something..

total pump just before natha khan bridge has quite good petrol. I used only normal petrol from there. no knocking and good acceleration.

problem is i live in north karachi, no hobc near this area.. coming back from pidc through sharae faisal, there is a shell pump in the beginning.. refueled from there a few times.. its just ok

thats right i've seen that pump but never filled fuel from there will try this time,
but honestly i haven't seen much change in driving while mixing hobc+super...in my city manuel . any specific reason or its just like i dont felt that in a way?

hmmm i see havent notice much, but now onwards will check whether they have company operated or the regular.

what is your cars factory spec requirement of petrol. if its high octane than it will knock on normal petrol. if its tuned for regular than you will see no difference in normal+hobc mix.

i am talking about cars on standard factory settings, standard fuel timing. not the ones with cng messed timing

I checked clifton,defence,sharah e faisal,saddar but I not got high Octane.
