Thank you so much. Actually this thread helped me a lot. I bought the part just like the OP and it was in my hands when I asked for labour to install it and I think that the guy got the impression that this customer knows something so he did not do any hanky panky.

Need recommendation from PW members for suspension overhauling of Toyota Platz in RWP or ISB.

Driven 228k km. steering seems to have a very slight play and dug dug feedback when turning. what could possibly be the reason? what suspension components i should be replacing since no component other than shocks have ever been replaced?

car is with me since 2006. changed its all 4 shocks twice over its lifetime with kabuli ones. the job was done in Rs.5.2k last time with labour (too cheap i know) 3 yrs ago. shocks seem fine at the moment.
