Hello. So i might be getting a purple (deep purple) aqua soon. I have limited options as it is a personally used car by my cousin in japan. I want to know if colour matching is going to be a problem in case of repainting or touch ups?

Metallic Colors have some paint match issue, If however it is a dark shade it may not cause alot of problems.

Worst paint to match is Silver.

If you want color that matches easily, don't look forward to anything beyond White.

Plus White has super resale value and looks really good over Aqua.

Thank you for the response. Yes i am aware that white is the best colour to go for but i already have 2 white cars. Toyota workshop here in my city does excellent paint matching, my silver car was repainted by them and there was perfect matching. So i think if they pulled that off, darker colours shouldnt be an issue.
And like i said, i dont have an option for colour anyways.

They must have showered multiple panels, Matching Silver Paint is globally an issue.

If you don't have color choice then don't think about it much.

Nope they did not shower multiple panels. The workshop i go to opened recently and they have excellent staff and equipment. The panels were painted infront of me.

Someone has given you wrong information, Aqua is number 2 top selling car in Japan and it has not been discontinued, neither it will be in near future as it is very successful.
