Has anyone noticed that while driving the '13 civic prosmatec at high speeds (let's say 100km/hr) on steep slopes (near kallar kahar region on the motorway), when you are driving up the slope, and you've pressed the accelerator to the max (with eco mode off), the speed doesn't increase (ie the car stays in the same gear) but when you ease your foot off the accelerator and press it again (causing a very mild but noticeable jerk), the car then gains speed by downshifting a gear or two.
This doesn't happen when the car is in cruise control (it automatically downshifts on slopes to maintain speed)
What's this about? It was quite annoying to ease the foot off the accelerator and then floor it again.
