For electronic engine check on the screen... Press and hold the tripmeter reset knob... Rotate the light knob to parking lights.....turn ignition knob to II-position....turn off the parking lights..again turn on the parking lights and turn them off....release the tripmeter reset knob and lastly press the tripmeter reset three times. All the lights should start blinking and RPM needle starts dancing. Pretty cool. All engine info is displayed on imid.
Normal........... Same sound in my civic too. Its kinda a bang in the morning with the car is cold. Reduces to a tuk sound when the car is warm no need to worry
Thank you so much!!! You've solved a million dollar question that was killing me I will try it and see if it's successful.

New civic 2014 is coming with a new jack knife key. Almost the same but buttons made of plastic. And a shiny plastic cover over honda logo
Oh that's good. The current civics jack knife keys buttons have started fading.
This didn't work for me??

This no claims bonus criteria is what is used in U.K and it makes hell lot of difference. Insurance premiums are very high here in the uk especially if you under 25 years of age and that you have acquired the license just recently. I'm turning 25 in two months time and the insurance cost is going to go down considerably. And oh being single adds to the misery too
Diagnosis works in 8th gen civic also.thankx
U r welcome bro!
I tried it a few times before it worked. Maybe u arent doing something right.
Do you have the snapshot? Is this for the Civics which will be booked from now on or for the old bookings also (ofcourse which are undelivered from factory)
not worked for me

I am looking forward to buying this car. I've never had a 1.8 automatic car in the past so this will definitely be an interesting experience. I just wanted to ask that are you only using Hi-Octane on this vehicle? I was told by someone that its preferable to use Hi-octane only it sounds a little too much to me as i've been driving Axio 1.6(manual) on Petrol and it works perfectly fine.
What else to expect from Pak Honda .

runs perfectly fine on normal petrol. Though I fill it up with a little hi-octane mixed with normal petrol from time to time. Like recently I filled it with 1000rs high octane and 1000rs petrol.
@ omar_575 how do the gears change in your prosmatec.are they smooth?i did had the experience to drive a 2013 city 1.3 prosmatec and the shifting was not smooth.vitz 1.0 ltr cvti has a better and smoother ride than city.i did felt a noticeable jerk when the gears changed in the city.wat about the civic auto?we are planning to buy a 1.8 litr car.still not sure abt which one to go for.civic prosmatec or altis cvti.
