Is IMID a reliable fuel mileage calculator?
Because it basically calculates the average of fuel consumption from day 1...which of course starts at around 6-7...so if the IMID is showing a mileage of 12km/l after a motorway drive this means that's the actual mileage on the motorway only is different, am I correct?

Dont know about the IMID but ib the honda city once you reset the trip computer in the speedo, the mileage also gets resetted and shows the mileage of that particular trip until it is reset. There must be some kind of familiar feature in the civic too.

U can also set the ODO A or B to reset automatically whenever you refuel and it will show the average during refueling.

I Reset the odometer and the car gave me fresh mileage
Motorway mileage: 14.9km/l
On salt range: 14.4 km/l
From Islamabad to Bhurban :14.1 km/l

Mileage from Bhurban to Islamabad :17.8 km/l
This includes a very sharp incline initially (almost 5 min) and then a drive down the expressway.
net mileage (from bhurban to lahore)- : 14.0 km/l.. we drove very "uneconomically" on the motorway thus this poor mileage
mileage since day one: 12.3 km/l
