Due to scarcity of water, that is why. Or, probably monopoly & interest of some elements... You can only wash it at service station, which infact uses more water than you can waste at home..

hmmm. i washed my car in dubai which was parked in the basement of our building in al barsha! nobody stopped me guess i was lucky or something, even the building watch keeper didnt say anything

Since its not UAE nor Americas and fuel is expensive, so had to opt for a 2.2 ltr 4cyl. Its a CSi, which is a little basic trim but this is all I need to get acquainted to the RHD traffic. After a couple of months will go for a new people carrier

& btw, its driven only 114k km (approx 71k miles) ...

The 2.2 liter motor is a good one too, if not in performance, then certainly in fuel economy, with the same durability. At least you have a better aftermarket stereo headunit with the CSi trim.

Masha Allah, its very well kept. I have a 98 model Gli in Jeddah with 227k on it and its still going strong. Very reliable car. Although I wish I had the V6 one

well, the HU is gud but speakers were not coping well, so i decided to upgrade the speakers. Bought a pair of JBL GTO638 for front & GTO938 for rear. It transformed the experience two fold. If got some more time, will also install an amp

oh, since my hands were full, cudn't take pix for the DIY.

engine wise it feels pretty brisk even after having my last car in dubai to be a V6 magna. i'm used to fast traffic of dubai & the slow, steady as well mannered traffic of sydney does not make the 2.2ltr feel out of breath

Speakers are more important than the HU anyway.

The Magna was sold as the Diamante here, for a few years, I think. Manufactured in Australia, it was a great car, although a bit heavy. I had one many years ago.
