Well I haven't tried it on a GPS enabled phone yet. But I don't think so that it will be able to do that. However I can see settings of GPS Activity, Position/speed and Heading arrow display. It also has Find a friend and connect to car options which I have'nt used yet.
The best thing about this application is that Google maps are the best maps. Google's database is huge and maps of all countries around the world are available. All you have to do is download them and transfer it to phone's memory.

@Saad, you can still have navigation without a GPS enabled phone. Garmin Mobile XT can use GPRS signals and provide guidance, though it would not be as fast as GPS, but still it is handy for those who do not have GPS in their phones or cars.
