Spray diesel on engine and other body parts. I dont suggest that. what diesel do actually, jitni b dirt etc hoti us ko soften kar deti hain and helps to clean but in engine bay never recommended. pipes rubbers etc sab kuch kharab ka deti hain as said my @omersiddiqui5482 bhai.
What you can do is.if you want detail cleaning fr our satisfaction. As i said above to check any water leak in the car, take the carpet out. if possible take the door panels out. Go to any service station jo banda apki bat suney, engine bay ko chor k. tell that guy to first apply diesel with water. cloth k sath saaf kare us part ko. spray if off with water. use the other cloth and apply form, shampoo or most of them got surf jo b hota un k pass. 2 bar shampoo surf etc apply kar k achey se pani mar dey.
That will be more than enough for detail cleaning for your satisfaction. and after that never ever use diesel again on your car.
Rusting purpose. once you get that detailed cleaning. yo will find more rusty part agar koi hua. wash that rusty part clean it with WD-40 use sand paper with coco cola (DIY) and paint kardo. If that part needs replacement then replace it.
Again it will be much better if you share detail pictures on your car in and out, everything.
