Indus is launching 1.3 vitz next year and they will discontinue xli . Gli will have an engine of 1.6 my aim is to create technical awareness among the people who want to buy cars. People in Pakistan just go for looks and they never read the technical specs of the car so people should spend their money in the right way. I have no hard feelings for xli users.
Lets just hope we're not ripped or more precisely shred into pieces with sky rocketing costs and taxes

Don't really know if this is accurate
Drove all the way from Bahria Phase 3 to Rawal Road with AC and moderate driving
Many thanks for posting it. Perhaps first MID pix of fuel average of Gli AT on PakWheels. This is accurate. I have checked myself with old school tankful method and Fuel Log app, plus MID, all tally.
This is accurate.
Toyota indus might be launching a Vios with a 1.5 or a 1.3 litre engine. A corolla would come standard with a 1.8All this would prolly be dne in 17 or '18 i guess
I won't confront you by stating that it might be a case of wishful thinking in the light of what we've seen for the past decade. These changes could only be achieved through implementation of Government's policies. Keeping in view the monopoly of automakers backed by policy makers who are directly or indirectly stakeholders, I'm not very hopeful of a positive auto future in Pakistan (I hope I'm wrong). We've progressed from non-matching mud flaps and door handles to matching ones in XLi in so many years. All I could see is intro of ABS in XLi in year 2017/18. But, since I'm neither a stake holder in IMC/Honda Atlas/PS or a policy maker so I can't really comment with authenticity.
Have there been any minor changes in Grande 2015 from 2014? If India has climate control offered in their grande then should we expect it in near future?
I ve booked an altis 1.6 as well and while thinking and searching for safety options for the car as corolla is the most loved by car lifters I came to find a guy who claims to install the antitheft immobilizer chip in the ecu as genuine grip to grip etc. Have nt tried the system yet as my car is not delivered so far. He told me that he has succefully installed one in a Grande. The guy is no ordinary electrician and seems quiet qualified and confident for the job. But the price he quoted is a bit on higher side .Im not very technical in cars but a thing or two i cud understand that he would put 100% genuine transponder chip in the ecu and key fob genuine as in which comes in corolla as standard in other countries.
which engine oil is best for the new corolla i mean for 1.6 and 1.8?
Toyota Taglon 5W-50 Fully SyntheticToyota Patron + 10W-30 Mineral
Are those oils ok with GLI Mt?
Yes, they are ok
How much is he asking for and are there any pictures of the installed kit?

TOYOTA ALTIS 1.6 AUTO
Got my baby YoKo 17 Inchers with Low profilers.
i have Gli auto 2015 its give me 10.2 avg
Gli auto has a big body and a small engine that is why fuel average is 10.2 . My grande 1.8 gives me 12.2/l these days and 1.6 gives me 13 km/l. I hope you understand power to body ratio concept.
Bro my gli 1.6 auto previous generation never go above 10.9km/l :-o
is this the current 1.6 altis trim with chrome door handles and leather seats?
