You can change the wiring connectors to fix bigger CDI.

acha? wow yar phir to kam asan ho gya....and 1 more thing will having too much current be bad for engine...as ihave heard that after changing cdi the revs will become smoother and more pronounced....thanks yar was just watching review of ybr 125 on youtube and wow thing looks very good cant wait till it comes..

You can ask some electrician for further, they know how to control extra current. I have seen many CG125 with CD200 CDI unit for better performance.

cd200 ki cdi wala kam nehe karu ga ma inshallah original junoon ki cdi he le ker agay alto ki igintion coil lagaio ga take current behtar ho jye ... electrician say he mashvara kea ha...just hoping for the best

Why are you installing Alto's coil?

im not...im just thinking about it....electrician kah rha ha kay kerte han ab deakte han kya hota ha vase ager missing wala masla sahi ho gya to to phir nehe karu ga....yar ajeeb si bat ha ahda dil kahta ha kay tajarba karo ahda kahta ha kay bachat karo....

Alto/Cultus Coil donot make any difference (atleast they did not in RP when I tried) but bottle Coil in conjunction with a platinium/Irridium plug is a Combo of good Detonation + Fuel Consumption Economy + Good Torque never noticed any good effect on Topspeed.

Most of the CG Racers/Wheelers use this combo as they have to redline there bike a lot and also they use bikes for practice for very long hours.... so its a perfect long life powerful yet economical solution.

It needs a High Voltage Plug I don have its pic and a High Voltage power cable.

Usually it cost 3k in used only for Bottle and Cable, Plug price ranges from 300RS to 10000Rs.

You mean to say we have to install this ignition coil with iridium plug combination in CG for better current, economy and performance?

Does it vanish the back fire issue which usualy happen due to bad current. I'm not a racer mostly under 60kms/hr but sick of back fire issue, although valves, rings+piston and cdi is alright.

no it will not remove any back firing I never faced back firing in my CG... even though every thing is stock.... can you elaborate when it back fires ?

Mostly back fire happen if the
1 - Plug is Bad,
2 - CDI has a fault
3 - Valves are not tuned to specs (its OK to lose them)
4 - The timing is out (happens if the engine is recently rebuilt and assembled back with timing little out of where it should be and can be checked with AHL proprietary Timing Light fo CG-125)

or are you talking about the Gun Fire
sound which these EuroII CG makes that happens if you switch of ur CG on high REV and turn it back on... "Kaboom"

cd 200 cdi ????? cd 200 had point ignition system ppl convert them to cdi

Plug, CDI and Valves are OK. The backfire issue is due to timing issue. I have simple CG 2007 non euro model.

If you can get it checked on timing light then you might be in position to get that problem fixed, once I had this issue in my old CG like 8 years ago he fixed it by changing the position of Pulsar on magnet.

On weekend will go to electrician to resolve this issue.
Secondly there is another problem, when the bike engine is cold it emits crispy and cracking sound but when becomes hot then the sound becomes quite heavier. Should i change the bike exhaust or is there any other issue?

or vicky bahi thanks for your guidance but.....booster bottle very much out of my range........would sidegapping my plug show any improvement...filhal im just going with china cdi and iridium plugs...and alto coils if i can afford it...kyue kay as you say your self that alto coils dont make much of a difference in cg but it might make some different positive difference in junoon...
