For the dyno tune, is the ecu chipped or is it running with a piggyback? if a piggyback, what brand

I am not clear as to what you mean by chipped here. The ECU was reflashed with a custom map and no it's not a piggy back system.

i didn't know you could simply do that with the oem ecu...

there are chips that contain the tuning data, the original one is removed and new one with custom tune swapped in place, this is the most outdated way.

I am sure he must have done something to make the stock ecu tuneable... there are mods you can do but never knew a stock one is flashable

No, he didn't do anything of that sort. Honda keihin ECUs are easily remappable. Also, my stock map is saved with him and i can easily go and get my stock ECU map back again anytime i want to.
