the all new 2014 Maruti-Suzuki Ciaz

i made it to my Suzuki dealer late evening. it was dark and i know the horrid showroom lights will not make for clear photos given my cheap point and shoot camera. then i wasn't prepared for the color of the car on display. then the alloys made me want to protest violently though i made my views known as politely as i could to my dealer. i'm sure this car will be on display at all local malls this weekend and hopefully i will get clearer views. what this car has going for it is price, interior and the diesel powertrain. i'm not sure about the 1400cc petrol engine till i drive one. Suzuki is now playing it safe and taking on established rivals in this segment so let's see if the public buys it in the volumes that they're expecting.

finally got the chance to check out the refreshed VW Polo hatchback which was launched almost two months back. very subtle refresh with bright work on the console, new lights and grill, fancy steering wheel and better seats. nice job with no price increase as i could make out from the price sheet. price ranges from 5 to 6.5lacs on road for the petrol version approximately.

the Maruti-Suzuki Ciaz sedan wasn't on display this weekend at my local mall as anticipated but the Mahindra Scorpio refresh was and here's pics. i'm sure the Ciaz will be on display next week...

2014 Chevrolet SAIL sedan (refresh)

i sought refuge from the rain at my local mall and the Maruti-Suzuki Ciaz wasn't on display again this week. Chevy's compact sedan was on display with lots of new features to keep buyer interest.
