Hello Nicky. Have you noticed that the hotel taxi favourite Toyota Altis is making a slow come back with private buyers? I am pleasantly surprised and hope that Toyota doesn't lose the plot again. They only have themselves to blame for ruining the brand equity of Corrola/Altis in India. Even the tours and travel sector is deserting the Altis in favor of BMW. All the hotel I stay nowadays send a BMW or Merc for airport pickup.

i agree with your observation, i've seen more private reg Altis for the first time since i've seen this car on indian roads I think Toyota has learnt it's lesson but i'm not sure they've learnt it really well and i hope the Altis sells better for them but the competition is only going to get fiercer.

nuttin' exciting on the roads this week so far, peaceful driving though and with many getting a long Thanksgiving holiday weekend who work for US firms in this city the rest of the week should be good too!
