where are you getting that info? The Japanese Spec RX-8 with 4port engine is 210HP at crank.

Secondly, the auto-8 is by no means a "slow" car, its designed as a Grand Tourer so while its not the fastest sports car in its league but its definitely one of the most funnest.

^I'd like to add further that the majority of RX8s imported here in PK are those which have crappy engine compression-- thats why they feel weak. But for what its designed as, the RX8 4-port is a peppy sports car like no other.

it is always better to do lil homework rather than typing crap here! stock type E auto produce 210bhp!

It Would Be Like Make 190-192hps if you say 197ps....!!
