Once the fuel strainer was all cleaned up, I got ready to get done with the fuel injection cleaning. The product I am using is the Diesel Purge from Liqui Moly.
First up, I got my hands on a 2.5 foot long rubber hose. This is important since the feed line is pretty short. ( that is a bolts + nuts box, not a wax one). Sorry for the very dirty engine bay pictures. Will be detailing the car before the PW Auto Show.
In order to work easy, I had to remove the air filter box. I stuffed some cloths under the filter box to make sure I didnt make a mess and spill diesel on the rubber components of the suspension below. I than removed the return line from the metal fuel pipe ( visible in the picture below ) and placed it in the plastic bottle.
Also, removed the feed pipe ( this is short pipe so you need a longer replacement pipe ) from the in-line fuel filter (used a bolt to seal the pipe) , plugged the new pipe into the inline filter and placed it along with the return line in the plastic bottle.
This is how it looks. So far, haven't spilled any fuel in the engine bay.
Poured all of the DP into the plastic bottle ( its a bright clear golden fluid ) and started the car. The fluied had turned murky within the first 10-15 seconds. Damn.
Turning very dark. Ewww :-#
At this stage, I could see the end of the fuel lines. Time to wrap up. I kept running the engine at different speeds and the total time take was approx 23 minutes.
Connected the feed line back to the inline fuel filter.
Also, the return line is screwed tightly back into place.
The condition of the remaining fluid in the bottle.

The first thing I noticed is the engine noise. When they say the car will be quieter after a purge, they mean it (H). Before the DP test, I used to think my car was quite for a diesel engined vehicle. I was wrong. Its so much quieter now, I was amazed :o lol. The change is astonishing. I started jumping with excitement when I stood back and couldn't quite believe my ears..
As for the performance, can't say much since its gonna be parked for a few more days. I have to change the inline and main fuel filters now to make sure the whole procedure is done properly. ::::
