Did a quick detail on the car. No paint correction was involved. An overall cleaning of the car over the course of 2 days. The most time consuming was detailing the engine since I had to get into all the crooks and crevices with a detail brush after spraying the engine with Astonish Engine Degreaser. Once everything was done, I coating all the rubbers parts and hoses with Autoglym Vinyle and Rubber Care

Im planning on cleaning the fuel injectors on my merc.... i went through some forms and found this.

Would the LM diesel purge actually be beneficial? And is there a write-up on how it should be done?

An easier way would be to use the diesel injector cleaner via your fuel tank.

You may go ahead with it. Gives good results. Buy a Liqui Moli or any other reputed brand and put in fuel tank

I have been using a quarter mobil oil with half tank of diesel. Makes engine a bit smooth

okay. but isnt using these injector cleaners in the fuel tank a NO NO. i read it somewhere where @xulfiqar mentioned about these giving problems in the lines.

the lights on the front fenders behind the front wheels. turning signals. The ones on this car are the unusual larger ones which very few w201's have on them. Usually all 190's come with the standard smaller fender lights

im changing the engine oil tomorrow. Any idea's what grade oil should i go for. I read that going for the thinner oil grade will cause leaks and the last oil we put in was Mobil1 15W40. Iv seen the same grade oil being sold by PSO, not by shell and haven't checked with castrol or Total.

There are brands like havoline and mobil1 here in peshawar but not sure about there authenticity.

So what should i go for? Car has clocked 130k km's.

Finally, did the oil change and changed the oil filter too.

Oil Filter: FILTRON OC602 ( OEM Replacement: Made in Poland )

Oil: CALTEX DELO GOLD ULTRA ( SAE 15W-40 )
