Disk would make this bike even more expensive, so good its not included

nothing more important than the safety of rider. Piaggio/AHL have my respect for offering diskbrakes on their flagship bikes.
It would roughly cost suzuki around 5000 PKR to include disk in the package.
but when we do it by ourself, cost goes upto 15K because of parts replacement.
So it's pretty bad that it isn't included.

Even look at Intruder M800. Only single disc at front and drum brakes at rear :-!
I bet Intruder owner won't be very happy with brakes either.

Yes bro i have seen the rear Tyre before.it is company fitted if they offered choice in tyres then there will be a wider tyre.
yes it has no disk brakes for front wheel, but drum is not that bad..
I have not purchased it for resale. INSHALLAH it would remain with me

I have ridden my GS150 for 14.6K Km with stock tyres and i have no issues with the tyres
but the front brakes are really pathetic

use kawasaki gto brake shoes or any other company's brake shoe instead of suzuki and you will feel the difference. the original Suzuki brake shoes are not that good. change them and the brakes will be much better

I used to get the brake shoes from mehmoodabad. the cost was around 350 and its not that much. any mechanic can fit it as the brake shoes are same for both the bikes. used them and the result was amazing. right now using ym company brake shoes and they are also very good.

I asked him for brake shoes and he himself gave me the brake shoes that these are the brake shoes for gto and they will be good for your gs. when I used them they were really good. but I am not sure if he still have those available. will ask him on Saturday and will let you know.

Bro advise me one thing. Right now my gs brake shoes are just like new. So should I change them in order to get good braking power or should I change when the brake shoes have wore off. Btw how good are gto brake shoes. How much more effective than normal brake shoes. Tell me in terms of percentage like 20/30/40%

the difference is not more than 30% bro but 30% is also too much when it comes to braking. use the original brake shoes until they are worn out. no need to change them right now. after that its on you to use original Suzuki brake shoes or other options available in the market. I also have used original 3 4 times but I feel the other brands much more reliable.

I did'nt know much about the previous model paint quality.
But in this model quality is good finishing is very nice.

Paint quality was good from 2006-2008
Since then, the tank and side tappas have been fine, but the paint job on the frame has been pathetic..... I have seen this even in early 2013 models
Kindly update us on the paint quality on your bike's frame, especially after 4-6 months of regular use

thanx for the reply, actually i own a 2011 gs150 done 30k so far and i have felt that the paint quality of the fuel tank isnt very good, anyhow i have passed on my old gs to my baby brother and i plan to get a new model of gs150 i like the color that you have bought i guess i'll go with the same color too :), the older model (2011) is a rust magnet i kept a wd40 and a black spray can by my side and sprayed on my bike after every service, i think i'll do the same with the new model just in case
