As far as Carburetor is concerned, he is right. There is no need to open carburetor every time and since its is brand new. It is better not to open it now untill bike create problem like missing thing.
I think should be inspected. There might be case that adjustment is not required. Sometime good mechanics judge by the sound of tappets and generally in hot summer weather like it is nowadays in Karachi, little lose tappets are more fruitful. You only hear sound like tik tik.
Just make sure other things, like nut bolts, oiling, engine oil change..etc
