The shortest description I can give for ybr after seeing it on a showroom is that, ybr is bit refined form of unique and super power 100cc bikes, as far as body, chasis, mud guards, tyres, rims and odometer etc are concerned. Fuel tank is bit sporty but again low quality pathetic chinese tank lid ruins its look. (Ravi Piaggo has sports fuel tank lid). Seat is bit good quality wise but nearly same as that of deluxe and piaggo. So comparing YBR to other bikes available in mkt, I expected more. Yamaha has shown the same pathetic and poor interest in what consumer wants rather how they can get more profits out of their product. Shameful.

Now only engine lefts, lets see how its going to perform in upcoming months. At least I m not going to spent my hard earned money for this piece of crap just for good engine ( GOD KNOWS IF IT even has one!)

IM DAMNED SURE YBR has not a single part made in Japan. This is total chinese made and Pakistan assembled like Honda and all other brands doing now a days

Bhai, ybr available in Pakistan@130000 whereas in other countries the price is above 2 lakhs so its better to compare it with local available machines in Pakistan which everyone will endorse a better bike comparing to other brands available which are also international brands. Thx

If one can spend 130000, he would happily pay 140 or 150k for better quality and robust long lasting stuff. I felt it my moral duty to warn the community regarding the matter for awareness. Bro im not a suzuki fan, I have same issues with all the brands. Which I pointed out in different threads. U can see my activity as evidence. Moreover I joined PW first and the sbsc later, infact just a week ago. So my thoughts are not in anyway represent any other group but just me. I ve removed my post, apologized to all if anyone felt offended. Dont know what the rest u are asking me for. I never specifically mentioned any member in my pist but the brand with purely my own thoughts. Isnt this PW platform what for? The thing is I had also waited desperately for this bike like u people did. I expected something better than Honda, DYL, Suzuki and all chinese stuff. I just felt the pain badly after seeing YBR and posted those desperate feelings here. Thats my mistake for what I ve been warned. Lesson learnt. So guys sorry to all of u who are offended.

Big companies like Suzuki, Honda, Yamaha never copy other brands, but on other side Chinese brands are copying international standard styles to get quick fame in the market. They have no concern with the quailty of products just throwing tons of bikes every year with cheap, low and sub-standard parts.

They definitely are, but my point was those are cheap chinese brands. If they are giving u cheap stuff they are equaly charging u far less for their products. Shouldn't yamaha be giving us better than this? Isn't there room for further improvement In YBR, like I already mentioned somewhere here, a digital meter, better fuel tank and its lid, better seat (like in sports bikes) better quality fiber. Am I wrong in pointing out for these improvements? Isn't these improvements would have given better satisfaction to all the current owners of YBR. It would have raised the cost but just by 10 or so Ks. Wouldnt the current owners had happily paid for these small improvements?

Bhai, its not about taking your points personally, its about your inappropriate observations on the new machine which is remarkable so far in comparison to other available commuting machines in pak. Ybr is enough sweet for a person who uses a bike for commuting in affordable price tag. Discussion closed from my side as well best of luck.

Same is the case of mine... I already deposited 50,000 for my Bike and they have mentioned clearly on Booking Receipt plus minus 5 Days ... Red & Blue Color is Short else Black & Grey available till 25th of May...

Now all will start bashing me too for agreeing with some of ur words not all, everyone here believe that YBR japan and YBR china have same quality and they are wrong, YBR Japan is something with everything perfect no compromise on quality, technology(efi), while YBR china is a product which was meant to be created cheaper for third world countries, some compromise on quality also exist i have seen it and read about it on some forums.
Now lets talk about price 130K is't reasonable, now don't start comparing it with GS and deluxe, they are ripping us, comparing it with deluxe and GS is like saying they slap me three times a day and YAMAHA is salping only 2 times so YAMAHA is best, though their price tag is comparatively reasonable but no reasonable if compared with other third world countries and Piaggio, + what if this is introductory price?
And about features Yes YBR lacks some very basic features but you can't blame YAMAHA PAKISTAN for it as this bike is international so they can't built a different version for us, though bike lacks some features which exist in other bikes like Matte Black Exhaust and that cover behind footrest.
Right now people are going crazy for this bike because first time a well known company has introduced this kind of well balanced package but after a few months this hype will start dying if the bike did't stand upto their expectations (About which i'm not sure but lets hope for the best)
I'm a die hard fan of YAMAHA, if u have a 2 stroke YAMAHA in ur home since ur childhood you will fall in love with YAMAHA. I wish Yamaha take over our market and slap hard on the face of Atlas for not updating their lineup, on the face of Suzuki for their idiotic price tags, on the face of Ravi for no after sales services but this can only happen if Yamaha is not here to make some money and they also need to change the mind set of people as consumer decide which kind of bikes will live and which will die, and if YBR will survive well than more brands will jump in this market.
I have very high hopes from XLI YBR because only XLI YBR can take some market of CG classic and CG Classic have to die for the better future of PAKISTAN BIKE INDUSTRY
