something might have gone wrong with footrest ..
or kick (no possiblity)..

if foot rest is bend then to correct it do not just do it wiht hammer.. it will damage crankcase..

it should be mad soft by the welding wals then it can be made to any position/direction.. care should be taken to not let heat toch crankcas as it has many rubber/plastic parts they will be damaged if heated.

most of the times, girne ki wja se aise ho jata hai, simple solution yeh hai k foor rest ka rubber cover utaar k braa sa pipe daalein is k rod mein (puncture walo k pas hote ehin normally.it will be easily fixed by this way. i have done it with my bike many times

you missed the heating part op go to any welding show tell him "isko garam kar k sedha kardo"

The only advice you should be giving him is to go to Yamaha service center. NOT to a welder. Sending someone to a welder when his bike is still under warranty is just plain irresponsible.

Broken accidental bikes are not covered in warranty. . Service station will either charge for it and will use hammer to correct it. Or send you to some denter. I have never seen a service center with wielding torch..

However it's good to start from service center first.. [emoji7]

IMHO In either way (by service center or out source) it's better to remove foot rest from bike then get it align by weld or pipe then install it back instead to take risk while it is attached. Specially welding is very sensitive and minor mistake by welder can result big lose. I had this experience on my yd100
