Visited motor cycle plaza in Rawalpindi this weekend. They daily receive around 8 bikes, which are sold within hours, as customers are getting delivery time of more than 2 weeks now.

My cousin working there told me that GS sales have gone down dead slow. And Atlas has stopped sending CG there. As per his opinion, Atlas is creating CG shortage so that they can be sold in black. While I thought Atlas has read the writing on the wall.....

And while I was standing near the sole unit available, one guy came at GD 110. He saw the YBR, probably for the first time, and was shocked. His whole expressions told why the hell he had missed YBR and got the GD.

I do not have any proof but its just a guess and few searches on the internet...I believe currently there is no spares (for the after sales) in the Yamaha company stores in Pakistan even in the head quarter Karachi.

where YBR indicators are available at the cost of USD 25.47 per pair that means Rs 2637.42 (1 USD = 103.55 Rs). For one indicator it costs Rs 1318.71. If you add the dealer profit then what we get is the price Raja sahab got.

If Yamaha has manufactured most of the bike in-house, then It should also manufacture its spares in-house. Spares are expensive because they are being imported as it is, and it makes sense when the bike is in launch phase. But I hope Yamaha has plans for local spares production because we can very much produce such parts at very good quality, locally.

Amjad bhai, there is no guarantee of accident from any company in Pak till now. The brands looting us from decades have manufacturing facilities in small villages as well this is why we r happy coz we get cheaper prices parts from any vendor selling parts in a cabin size shop. This is injustice with yamaha that we r criticising them just because they are charging high rates due to imported parts.

your concern is right rather this concern is for everyone but i posted details that Yamaha will soon start localization of its parts in upcoming years even their bike unit product is very low compared to other bikes available in Market. so i think we need to give them time
