Time for expert Advise...

I have a question related to YBR Engine... Check out this video which was uploaded by Rajahasnain.. The thing which i want to point out is Engine SOUND.. When ever i switched off my Bike a sound produces from Engine "tukk" we can here this sound clearly in this video at 2:25 to 2:27 when rajahasnain Turned off the engine...

What kind of Sound is this??

Is it fine or something is wrong..??

Secondly we discussed about Rajahasnain Kick Start issue.. When his Bike Kick starts hitting footrest.. Me & My Friend also having same issue.. Kick is touching the footrest without facing any accident.. Footrest is in its right position..

Is it manufacturing fault..??

Which oil is being used by people in YBR? i saw new packing of yamalube, spec wise it seems good though i didnt used it. I poured SERVO M5 last time in my pridor 9000km driven.its driven 800km uptill now and it amazed me by its result.engine sound is still very nice though service is due. thinking of trying it in YBR. wt u ppl say?

For ybr use yamaha lube though my bro is using same fuel in CG 125 so no harm

The engine shut down "tak" sound is quite normal in new engines; GD also does the same when the engine is powered off. I do not have the reason at the moment, but rest assured this is absolutely okay.

Regarding the kick-lever touching the foot-rest issue, you need to wrap water pipe around the kick-lever and the foot-rest. I even shared its pix in some thread because this problem is there in the GD too.

Your both queries are inter-related...

The tuck sound at the time of switch-off is called "Auto De-Compression" It also exists in Suzuki Bikes, which release the pressure of engine while switch-off and make the re-start considerably soft. You may experience that kick start of bikes having this de-compression system is very soft as compared to Honda bikes which haven't it.

Regarding your second option, we usually put extra force on kick, while with de-compression, you may start the engine very softly. So, don't put extra power and kick won't touch to foot rest.
