so do you sell software as well, i need quotations on a few software like ARCGIS, auto-cad and few more some are quite expensive can u suggest some alternate versions (i hope u don't charge for suggestions) ... I have a long list of requirement and the areas where my organization is interested in shifting to some in-expensive versions so if u can give me a contact no we can have detailed conversation ... my cell no is 0333-5109707 ... thanks

depends on what you need the software for, i mean your applications.I know blender is a free open source software, which is for 3d modelling/animation/rendering/game-engine. I assume that is what you were using autocad for. It could probably do architecture to some extent.then there is octave for replacement of matlab. But it is too command-line-ish.Post a new thread with a list of all the softwares you need. People will help you better that way.

Good to know that you are the student of FAST. My cousin, who is also a student of FAST, is working on school management systems these days but honestly speaking our rich school owners usually are not willing to pay the right choice. Recently he also made a POS system for a restaurant that wasn't less in quality as compared to branded restaurant POS systems but he didn't get the right price. Even you can see the price of these top POS system companies and how much our local developers are charges here. Such things are dishearting. However, I would recommend you to build POS software for retail shops and even big brands. Secondly, we can also go with offering some online courses of Java, Python, R and HTML.

On the other hand, don't forget to engage foreign companies to do joint ventures. It will improve your reputation. Best of Luck.
