hey huzaifa could u please post ur total FULL tank average and how many KMs full tank gave u? i'm sure u must have calculated these by now? .. where r u taking ur car for oil and air filter change? did u change its HMMF ?? from where? how much it cost u? could u pls be kind enough and reply? i'd appreciate if u could email me details and price it cost u? my email is Kahmr78@gmail.com

i'm a co-proud-owner of another beautiful Honda Insight G 2010 gun metalic ... it sure is an AMAZING HONDA Hybrid and far far better than Pakistani Honda City Aspire 2013-14 .. its suspension is as soft as needed for sheer comfort and as tough as needed on Pakistani Roads ... and also better than Honda Civic Hybrid

i'll post a thread with pics of my car once i get it fully serviced along with its avgs

Welcome brother,
Changed its engine oil our self as we have a mechanic for our cars at our factory.
Didn't changed its Hmmf and planning to change it this week.
I got 700kms from full tank , still it had some fuel but very little and full tank was of 37.92.
Avg was of 19 km/l
And no air filter change as my dad is not here !!

Went to Honda and they said that CVT oil 3 liters will cost 3570 and 500 labour charges , will get it changed tomorrow...!

Got CVT oil changed today from Honda Classic
Cost of oil (CVTF) : 1190/ltr
Total : 2.8 ltr
Labour: 500
Next time will change it myself its a easy job

i have one Question.. i know insight is CVT .. but its CVT technology also uses Multi Matic function to assure good mileage and hence written HMMF (Honda Multi Matic Fluid) on its dipstick ... wasnt there anything named HMMF available in Pindi / Isb market? Honda might not have it as they do not support "Honda Insight", hence they'll recomend CVTF since they use it in their PDM's ?? HMMF might be avail in Saddar / khada market etc or any other renouned autoshop in pindi / isb

as far as i've read on internet plus forums, using a wrong Fluid for ur transmission would irreparably ruin it !

(i'm sorry i'm not trying to scare u, just discussing as i'm new to Insight myself :S)

could u also pls update latest milage snap shots of ur indash gauge.. kmpl and total driven in tank

which engine oil did u use? do u rembr its viscosity guage?

lastly, as much as i myself want to put nice set of 15" or even 16" Alimunium Alloys on my Insight with preferably 195(or 185)/ 65(or 70 if supported) ... but the original set of rims are light weight meant to give good mileage .. dunno how much larger set of wheels would effect car's mileage..

my Insight is currently getting its SEAT COVERS done .. and for that the seats of my CAR are taken out one by one each day.. i'll post pics of the car once it gets its garnishing done fully

i'll also change its stupid Japnese Indash CD player ( grrr :@) .. will try to find original Honda Player with Steering Controls along with Cruise Control that came with LX model ... but lets see what i find available in local market

HMMF or (honda multimatic fluid) is just available in Japan but in Pakistan it is not available so there is no difference if u use CVT oil normal.
I used Hondas CVTF as recommended by Honda (It was written in Insight Manual which i downloaded from internet Us or Uk version)
I use Zic a+ probably 5w-30 or 5w-20 but 5w-30 is good and recommended.
I also want to install alloy rims Oems preferred but others will work too there is no big difference on milage .

Trip to faisalabad , speed 100-110km/h , car was overloaded with luggage and 5 people were onboard , total fuel consumed : 1520rs or 13.5 liters.
The hybrid system or IMA did no job on the motorway but CVT and aerodynamic shape did....

How was the car engine performing at that speed i mean is the engine is taking load or going smooth and what about its stablelity.
