Alright, what's done is done.
Change the oil and oil filter at 5000kms. Let all the oil come out of the engine. Even those tiny drops.
If you wanna keep warranty go for petron plus 10w30
Keep it slow in first 300km

It's been 3 months? Wah.
Btw get the oil and oil filter changed at 2000km at this rate. After that, go for oil change at 5000km. Let company say yabba dabba. All over the world it's specific mileage or 6 months. Don't change oil before 2000km, this engine needs a proper break in/run in in first 2000km

Yes they have all genuine stuff from mobil1 to Liqui moly.
I am using original Honda oil filter.

Agreed. Engine burned the oil. It wasn't suitable for our environment.
I directly shifted to Liqui moly 5w-40 fully synthetic. And now no coming back from it. Hands down the best oil.

Yep, coz Toyota oil is also blended by mobil askari limited.
What harm it could do?
My gli ran on petron upto first 100k km and than I changed the oil to mobil super 20w50, and it has done 220,000km now.
Using petron plus 10w30 in my Altis, and getting the best fuel consumption out of it

Engine burnt the oil?
How can you be so sure about it that engine burnt the oil?
If the oil was black that means engine is getting cleaned by the oil. If engine has burnt the oil than it will consume the oil as well.

The oil was less. I checked it from dipstick. I don't know the exact reason. The engine is brand new only 20k driven in 3 years. The oil definitely didn't suit the engine due to our environment.

Hmmm, never faced these types of issues even in my Altis I'm using 10w30 mineral oil. It's going good.

Yes 10w30 is thick enough but 0w30 is a thin oil Infact very thin.
For once try Liqui moly 5w40 fully synthetic. You will definitely feel the difference.
Makhdoom bhai too uses Liqui moly in his Grande.

Yeah, but the thing is i'm getting a good fuel consumption and engine is quiet so no issues from this oil.
My car consumed a petrol of 7200rs only in a trip from lahore-murree-nathiagali-murree-abbotabad-naran-lulusar-babusar top-naran-hasan abdal and than Lahore. Didn't face any issue with oil even in area like babusar top where temperature was in minus and oxygen level was low.

Getting 12km/l within city, couldn't get more in such a cheapo 2400rs/4L oil

I have used many products in the past, but this is the best combination anyone can get. Best car soap ever, and this wax is love <3 . One can even apply it on a wet car and just do all the wiping. It's hydrophobic nature throw away all the water, leaving a buttery shine/protection on your car.

I have been using 0w 30 in my Prius 2010 civic 2014 and grande 2015 no issue of reducing or burning of the oil ... U might have got 2 number oil ... But I change the oil at 4500 to 5000 Kms and always use original filters

Yep, there is nothing like enviornmental issues. People in US drive crown victorias V8 in 48 degree celcius with 0w20 oils for like thousands of miles.
Engine works at double the amount of enviornmental temperature so it's a myth.

Yes. If you are satisfied then stick to it. No need for any experiments.
Plus oils really don't ruin the engines. Just the fully synthetic ones make the ride smoother, increase efficiency and they last long.
