So you have had your Civic for almost a month. Can you comment on its fuel consumption?
Altis fuel average is better than civic for sure... Difference is 2 Km / liter
Also, what is your opinion about the stock 15" EuroStar tires. I mean, do you feel anything at somewhat higher speeds (let's say 130km/h-ish) and is there any noise?
No any extera oradinary noise i already experience in my Altis (2010) and Gli (2009) not bad for normal use even on motorway @ 140 km. but yokohama DB or Nitto is better. You can experience less noise @ high speed.
Btw, if it is any consolation, you can still use your Prosmatec transmission along the lines of a Tiptronic transmission. You can upshift from 1 -> 2 -> D3 -> D if you ever want to experience the joys of manual transmission again. I am not sure if you can do that while downshifting as well or if it'll be safe to downshift that way (your rev meter might go into the red zone). The upshifting is pretty safe, imo
You cant shift up or down like triptronic. however you can switch between D2 , D3 & D without push the shift switch. But its not the way you drive shifting between 2 , 3 and 5 speed transmission.
