oh what function are u talking abt sir? and if it is rwd then it wud a plus point rather than a negative to get a bit more wider tires for the rear. plus i was suggeting him in terms of looks here as u may also have seen new civics from back they look as if the tires are very narrow bcoz u see the mudflaps are very wide so a results tires do not get in line with the mudflaps and that looks kinda cheap, i faced the same problems in my civics and now that the tires are changed to 205 on new 1 so it looks nice now and same was the case with my 04 civic so got 195 for it and that issue is solved plus u get better quality tires too apart from just looks

considering Pakistan's road conditions, people try to get wheels that go under fenders easily, in fact I have seen people getting fenders widened (by denting) for this purpose, what you're talking about will surely look good but won't be practical at all.
