You can use mp3 player or even your mobile phone or card reader as usb using aux option and cable

Brother it's a hassle to connect iphone or ipod through AUX plus steering controls dont work with AUX input.
BTW CD player can play MP3 and you can use steering controls with it.. but again you have to change the CD frequently because of its limited capacity to hold data.

No bro, there is no USB. They only offer USB with Navigation Unit.

I am sure the player must have the USB pins at the back; just like previous player had AUX port but Atla$ didnt bothered to jumper it and make available the port somewhere accessible and @zunny had to do a DIY (https://www.pakwheels.com/forums/d-i-y-projects/165909-d-i-y-honda-civic-8th-gen-aux-audio)

I guess they are giving it with Navigation unit only!

Khurram Bhai I also believe that there is a provision to connect USB but they didnt offer it just to sell Navigation Unit. I have seen many videos of international civic having same global model of mp3 player with USB connectivity in the arm rest console.

I hope and pray that you purchase your new civic soon and let us know the jugaars how to make things work as I am not good at experimenting myself.

Thank you very much bhai jaan ! Sir, I know very well that you own Altis MT and you were among first few lucky pakwheelers to own one.
Brother,no doubt Altis is a nice car. It has 6-speed transmission, new dual vvti engine, better gear ratios, better acceleration, very good suspension and more rugged image than civic. BUT believe you me new Civic is a lot more fun to drive, its handling, acceleration, comfort and suspension almost everything is much improved and I really mean it, no matter what ppl say about its exterior but when you are inside the cabin, it offers you a much better driving and traveling experience than its other local rivals in its class.
I am not being biased cause I own both rides and I am completely satisfied with both but the day I got civic in my garage, Altis is almost a neglected ride with dust cover on it.

New Civic is better than Altis in almost every aspect that you have requested to compare.

Bro, if you press ECON button only thing you will notice is slightly less throttle response and slight variation in instantaneous average bar to reflect the change.

Nothing sophisticated bro, it's just a normal Honda key that flips and folds into a fancy plastic housing with three buttons on it just like anyother keylesss remote with the exception of a new button for trunk opening.

Thank you Bhai! As I havent tested it on long routes yet so cant say anything. However, from the pictures I posted earlier you can predict how well it will perform on highway.
I will definitely update you, whenever I get a chance to test it on motorway.
