Thanks Huzaifa_Khalid!! Nothing wrong in driving a brand new car on motorway as long as you drive it within the speed limits. I read the owner manual & didn't find anything about car's running. So there is no need of it. However i am still driving it on light foot till the fist 1000KM.

What is the speed limit for the first 1k km ? I hope you are not experiencing any issues with the car after driving it on M1 ?

As per owner manuals, There is no specific speed limit for the first 1000KM. There is no issues with the car after driving it on M1, I didn't cross 110.

Right but was there any max speed limit restrictions imposed on you by the 3S at the time of delivery for first 1K km ?

Also one more question here. I will be most probably going to pick my car tomorrow or the day after from same 3S from where you picked yours so is there anything I need to keep in mind before getting the delivery ? What I mean is something you missed out which you think you should have checked before talking the delivery from 3S ?

Nothing special to check, Just make sure that the car is freshly arrived from factory. DOM is written on windscreen with signature. Check the body for any dents/scratches or repaint (yes it occurs during transportation but in rare cases).. Check the sparewheel/jack.. BTW which variant you opt for & what color?

Nothing special to check, Just make sure that the car is freshly arrived from factory. DOM is written on windscreen with signature. Check the body for any dents/scratches or repaint (yes it occurs during transportation but in rare cases).. Check the sparewheel/jack.. BTW which variant you opt for & what color?

Mine is City Aspire Prosmatec 1.5 . Colour is Polished Metal Metallic.

@porsche1 .there is no plastic shield under the engine..get it installed as it will keep the engine bay clean .n i hav also heard that there is no ac filter installed .also chk it ...both these things will cost u around 2000-2500 rs n they r available at honda spare part shop .

as m frm lhr ,dun knw anything abt rawalpindi or isl .jus go to a good poshish wala in ur area n ask him to make seat covers in beige colour jaisa ke aspire mein hain ..they will luk decent as well ...n as the carpet is black n it will get dirty with the tym plus it doest go wid the beige interior ...get matting of "rekseen" in beige colour .it will keep the carpet clean n u will nt hav to take it out again n again n even if some liquid spills it will nt seep into the main carpet .mats also in beige colour .rest its ur choice ..btw this wat i hav planed for my car

Yes there is no AC cabin filter in new city. You have to get it from Honda. they will charge you Rs1000. You also need to install the plastic sheet under engine, if you like. It only comes in city pros. i would suggest you to check the local market for Thai/mala/Jap or any country made sheet for honda. Reason being, the sheet that is available at honda 3S will marely cover the half part of engine and other made sheet will cover the complete engine bay. But in this case you have to remove the sheet on every oil change but it will keep the engine bay clean. I guess they charged me Rs 1500 or 1000 for the OEM sheet.

Mashallah Congrats on the purchase.

I also own a city 2013 so feel free to ask questions.

As for poshish i got my city's seat covers from Aabpara market. The shop is just beside the Toyota dealership. They are same as the OEM ones but just a little more beige contrary to the Titan OEM ones. Check my post at this thread (https://www.pakwheels.com/forums/body-work-interior-paint-glass-appearance/207170-car-care-detailing-dreams-part-2-a-279#post3998007) post #5571. Although the fitting is not good but you can have them made at the shop for better preference.

An honest opinion though dont get the seat covers installed as i have noticed that they ruin the natural curvature of the seats unless the seat covers are stitched into the foam like OEM. Enjoy the OEM seats and when they get dirty just have them dry cleaned from any dry cleaner.

Dont forget to protect that Albaster Silver with quality waxes, shampoos and microfibers.
