Yes and as i said, suzuki isnt targeting higher sales or mass market. Its a neiche.
Bdw.. 100K on Junoon/CD100/Spinter etc is just a dream... reality is most of these bikes are found with mechaics at 25000-50,000Kms mark. Even with maintinence thats the true life span of 70-80% bikes... In a country where u get everything of low quality, plus u get fake spares, fake engine oil and bad mechaics.... getting 50Ks + is mostly luck. However the case was true with older models...
Plus u also know that GS has everything of low quality... Suspension, Rims, CDi unit, Wiring, Brakes, Paint coat, Fit and finish of engine is pathetic too.. even if its imported, its assembled here. Hence Suzuki has every right to charge higher for a better quality bike... but yes, the market isnt much ripe here for quality lovers... People's favo bike still is 70cc Chonda or honda.
