That's exactly what I plan on doing, i'm getting Mjs headers and a power commander first. Then later on a akrapovic slip-on.

And r1 is right 2009 r6 is 100hp stock and hopefully I will gain 6-8 bhp with these mods.

@Getafix ....AS a biker point of view ur's ....Can u gave a comparison between these 3 bikes ,as they all are in 600cc category

Well they're all great bikes and pretty similar performance wise. When it comes to riding comfort, the CBR is the best followed by the GSXR and then the R6. Since the R6 is a pure racing-spec road legal bike, it's got a very aggressive riding position so it can be a little uncomfortable for long rides. So for the street the CBR or GSXR are the best.

Looks wise, CBR is the least attractive for me, it's styling has always been a little bland for my tastes. So for looks/styling i prefer the R6 & GSXR.

When it comes to the track, R6 is probably the best choice as it has insane top-end power. However that top-end power comes as a sacrifice to the low-end power band, where the GSXR & CBR are a bit better.

So it all comes down to personal preferences i guess. They're all great machines.

I could've written more but i thought that was a nice little summary.

Also missing from the comparison is the ZX6r, which imo, is an overall better bike than all of the other three jap one's. The only department where it fails in is looks, otherwise it's a solid bike both on the track and the street.

You mean ZX6R is best in 600cc class ? Kawasaki,s bikes are not as beautiful and stylish like others are.I think this the only think which effect KAWASAKI ?

Yes they fall flat in the looks department, though the 2005-2006 Zx6r was very nice. Unfortunately Kawasaki's have a very bad repute in pakistan, probably due to jahil mechanics who can't understand their engines.

ZX6r was rated the best bike in the 2009 Motorcycle.com and Motorcycle-usa.com supersport shootout. I was comparing 2009-2010 bikes as my R6 is also a 09 model & the models remained unchanged for 2010.

However, you can't really say which one is best as it's so close. It's all pretty subjective, you can't go wrong with either one.
