If you ask me i always prefer my grande over prius every time. I have my own reasons behind it that are:
1- it is much more comfortable while driving. As its made to me driven on pak road i.e having very soft suspension and buttery smooth steering.
2- leather interior and sunroof
3- whenever i want to have fun of a manual transmission i use the paddle shifters.
4- way better exterior
5- brand new car has its own charm and smell.
6- good road clearance is very important for our type of roads but i personally prefer the stance to be a little lower for better road grip and reducing that arch gap.
Well prius is also better then grande in some aspects that are:
1- much better road grip and more stable at high speeds due to a lower stance.
2- prius certainly feels more powerfull in pickup but after reaching about 40kmph acceleration is same as grande.
3- interior is beter due to the presence of climate control and that beautifull gear lever which is the stand out feature in prius for me.
But the interior of prius also has a corn that is , it is made up of plastic material and coz of that it does not give a luxury feeling in the cabin.
So this is what i think about these 2 cars which falls in the same price bracket i.e 2.5million but for me grande wins over prius majorly due to it soft supension, comfortable drive and being problem and mantainence free for atleast next 40k kms.
