I'm glad you're so excited but after opening this thread I'm a little disappointed and personally believe you're investing too much money into this car thinking it's something that it's not. I'll give you my humble opinion and praise so please dont take offense.

If you think this Ford Pinto (which is what it essentially is) is equal to the legendary Mustang, then I'd suggest you reconsider your decision to restore this car because it is not only expensive to source but also undesirable from a collectors perspective. BUT if you are happily well aware it's a Mustang II and not the original Mustang then have fun with your new baby.

For people that are saying the Mustang 2 is a true Mustang, do you also think the Pajero Mini is a true Pajero? The Mustang 2 and Mustang original are very different cars - both with their own fans - but, it just so happens that the Mustang original is desirable and the Mustang 2 is not.

Thanks 4 ur comments well yes i m aware ov it tht its Mustang 11 not come with v8 but if sum1 can restore Volks Wagon & Toyota than i think this stang worth to restore i m not inspired by sum racing movie nor i like racing at all the reason i restore this car is to save it else i m sure sum Kabaria Scrap it secondly i m not a proud owner ov stang but yes i proud that i save an old car n thats wat means more important to me again thanks for ur comments hope u guide me in future:-)

hmm yar comparing mustangs with mini pajero is an insult of mustangs... as for ur example mate original continued when mini is lunched not the same thing happened with mustangs . mustang2 only produces in the Era of 74~78 as for the collectors point of view mate if some other mustangs named mustang2 then tell me and collectors always want that cars which are discontinued and u cant find them in this era same story goes with this mustang2 how many us see in pak roads ?? do it worth noting that four of the five years of the Mustang II are on the top-ten list of most-sold Mustangs :S
