My cousin's marriage was in gujranwal on saturday so went to gujranwala from islamabad on G.T. road on my bike, there were six cars and my bike, first i also thought to go on my car but then i decided to go on the bike and enjoy it on the bike, went there in the morning and came back at night. The total distance traveled was 500 K.M. Alhumdullilah the journey went fine.
When i was going to gujranwala my average speed was 105 K.P.H. reached gujranwala in 2 hours 45 min non stop. I was alone on my bike
Left gujranwal after asar prayer and on my way back as it was night the average speed was 90 K.P.H. On the way back made many stops like 6 to 7 with the cars. reached islamabad in abut 4 hours One of my cousins was also with me on my way back, half way he drove the bike and half way i drove the bike.
Overall journey was Alhumdullilah fine, bike consumed a whole tank of fuel.
After this journey i would not recommend anyone to go on long journeys with clip on handles on ravi piaggio. Clip on's made the journey very tiring as the whole weight is on hands and arms and its difficult to keep going with this weight for too long.
Although clipon handles are very much enjoyable in the city and the control of the bike which one gets from clip on cannot be achieved with the standrad handle and the complete feel of the bike changes with clip on's and the ride becomes more agreesive but specially for long journeys the comfort of the standard handle is much more which i missed. I never had this problem with in the city.
Its a good bike for long journeys just put it in 5th gear and drive smooth
