Delahaye 185

Delahaye was an automobile manufactured by Delahaye between 1947 and 1951. The last of the large Delahayes, the type 175 was essentially a 135 with a larger engine and more modern suspension,[SUP][1][/SUP] with between 120 and 160 hp depending on compression and how many Solex carburettors were fitted. The front end design was by Delahaye's young head designer Philippe Charbonneaux, and marked an effort to develop a particular Delahaye "face". Delahaye required coachbuilders to use the corporate front-end, although famous ones such as Figoni et Falaschi were given a certain amount of leeway. The 4.5-litre engine used in these cars carried the "183" model code.

Maybach Zeppelin

The Maybach Zeppelin was the Maybach company's Repr?sentationswagen[SUP][note 1][/SUP] model from 1929 to 1939. Named for the company's famous production of zeppelin engines prior to and during World War I, it was an enormous luxury vehicle which weighed approximately 6600 lb. This weight was so great that German drivers required an additional goods vehicle licence for vehicles over 2? tons.[SUP][2][/SUP] Along with the Voisin, and behind the Daimler Double Six, this was Europe's joint second luxury V12 car in production.

Bugatti Atlantic 1938 Type 57SC

Type 57SC cars were built new, but most 57S owners wanted the additional power afforded by the blower. Therefore, most of the original Type 57S cars returned to Molsheim for the installation of a supercharger, pushing output from 175 hp (130 kW) to 200 hp (150 kW) and 120 mph (190 km/h).
Type 57S featured flowing coupe lines with a pronounced dorsal seam running front to back. It was based on the "A?rolithe" concept car of 1935. Like the Type 59 Grand Prix car, the A?rolithe used Elektron (a magnesium alloy) or Duralumin (analuminium alloy) for its body panels. Therefore, the body panels were riveted externally, creating the signature seam.
The production Atlantics (just four were made) used plain aluminium, however. But the dorsal seams were retained for style, and have led to the car's present fame.

Isotta Fraschini Tipo 8

Isotta Fraschini Tipo 8 is an automobile introduced in 1919 by Isotta Fraschini, a company which underwent a complete change after World War I. Until that time building a wide variety of models, the company adopted a single-series policy. Like many high end vehicles of the day, the car came from Isotta Fraschini as a chassis only. Bodies were typically from Italy?s top-tier coachbuilders, Carrozzeria Castagna and Cesare Sala, but other European and American coachbuilding firms lent their hands to the task of supplying bodies. It was the first serial produced car in the world to be equipped with a straight-8 engine.[SUP][3][/SUP] With this car the company gained great name and success as luxury car manufacturer. The main rival of the car was Rolls-Royce.[SUP][1][/SUP] The Tipo 8 was offered only with bare chassis and engine for the coachbuilders.[SUP][4]

The Tipo 8's 5.9-liter overhead valve, overhead cam, was the first inline 8 engine offered in a production car. Initially producing 80 bhp (60 kW) and soon raised to 90 bhp (67 kW).[SUP][1][/SUP] There was no exterior intake manifold, instead the twin carburetors attached directly to the block. Transmissions were three-speed manual. The car had top speed of around 85 mph (137 km/h) to 90 mph (140 km/h).

Chrysler Airflow

The Chrysler Airflow is an automobile produced by the Chrysler Corporation from 1934 to 1937. The Airflow was one of the first full-size American production car to use streamlining as a basis for building a sleeker automobile, one less susceptible to air resistance. Chrysler made a significant effort at a fundamental change in automotive design with the Chrysler Airflow, but it was ultimately a huge commercial failure.

In its final year, the Airflow was reduced to one model, the Airflow Eight, offered as a two-door coupe and four-door sedan. A total of 4,600 units were produced before the program was cancelled. Flat dashboards with recessed controls, soft door handles, and padding on the back of the front seats were new safety features.[SUP][1][/SUP][SUP][8][/SUP]
It was in this year that an Airflow Custom Imperial, model CW*, limousine became the official car of Philippines president Manuel L. Quezon. The historic vehicle was restored in 1978 and is on display in Quezon City, Philippines. Another 1937 Airflow Custom Imperial, model CW*, limousine was owned by radio personality Major Edward Bowes,[SUP][9][/SUP] Chrysler was one of Bowes' radio show sponsors. The two Airflow Custom Imperials were actually leftover 1935 models and only the two were built for 1937. The cars have a 140-inch wheelbase.

Yes Murtaza it has been a while since i visited PW .

No..... Altaya does not only make chrome series , i have a lot of Ferrari's which i will post them after the chrome series.

No..... i have not tried GT6 yet , i was extremely disappointing with GT5 ...... left the series altogether

Pierce Silver Arrow

The car caused an absolute sensation, with a futuristic design, spare wheels hidden behind the front wheels, a wide-degree angle V-12 and a top speed of 115 mph (185 km/h). Five production models were built, but they resembled a more typical Pierce-Arrow and lacked many of the unique features shown in New York. Only three Silver Arrows exist today.
The Pierce Silver Arrow can be seen and driven in the computer game Mafia: The City of Lost Heaven, in which it is referred to as the Silver Fletcher.
