To all Pakwheel members , i have made this thread to share my collection of scale model cars and airplanes with all the enthusiast on Pakwheels who like to collect models.

I have been collecting models for the past 18 years , i am a model collector as well as a model builder , my inventory of models consists of models that are pre made and also models that are in the form of kits,

I am not a professional photographer, but i will do my best to capture the models as much in depth as possible.

Ford Prefect 100E

In 1953 a much redesigned Ford Prefect was introduced alongside the similar Ford Anglia and remained in production until 1959. The old separate chassis had gone, replaced by integral construction, and coil independent front suspension supplanted the transverse leaf spring. Girling hydraulic brakes were fitted, initially 7 in drums but quickly increased to 8 in (200 mm) A new side valve engine of 1172 cc engine was fitted having the same bore, stroke and layout of the previous engine, but in all other respects completely different. Externally it can be distinguished from the Anglia by having vertical bars on the radiator grille and four doors

Ford Escort Mark I (1968–1974)

The Mark I Ford Escort was introduced in the United Kingdom at the end of 1967, making its show debut at Brussels Motor Show in January 1968. It replaced the successful long running Anglia. The car was presented in continental Europe as a product of Ford's European operation. Escort production commenced at Halewood in England during the closing months of 1967, and for left hand drive markets during the autumn/fall of 1968 at the Ford plant in Genk. Initially the continental Escorts differed slightly from the UK built ones under the skin. The front suspension and steering gear were differently configured and the brakes were fitted with divided hydraulic circuits; also the wheels fitted on the Genk-built Escorts had wider rims. At the beginning of 1970, continental European production transferred to a new plant on the edge of Saarlouis, West Germany. The MkI was also built in Israel between 1969 - 1975

Citroën Ds

The DS was a large, expensive executive car and a downward brand extension was attempted, but without result. Throughout the late 1950s and 1960s Citroën developed many new vehicles for the very large market segments between the 2CV and the DS, occupied by vehicles like the Peugeot 403, Renault 16 and Ford Cortina, but none made it into production. Either they had uneconomic build costs, or were ordinary "me too" cars, not up to the company's high standard of innovation. As Citroën was owned by Michelin as a sort of research laboratory, and were a powerful advertisement for the capabilities of the radial tyre Michelin had invented, such experimentation was possible.

Volkswagen Karmann Ghia

The Volkswagen Karmann Ghia is a 2+2 marketed from 1955 to 1974 by Volkswagen in coupe and convertible bodystyles — combining the chassis and mechanicals of the Type 1, evocative styling by the Italian carrozzeria Ghia, and hand-built bodywork by German coach-builder Karmann.
The combination proved instantly successful for VW; production doubled soon after its introduction,[5] and the Type 14 became the most imported car in the U.S.[5] American industrial designer Walter Dorwin Teague selected the Type 14 for his list of the world's most beautifully designed products.[6]
The Karmann Ghia was internally designated the Type 14. Volkswagen later introduced a variant in 1961, the Type 34 — featuring a less curvacious bodywork and based on the newly introduced Type 3 platform.
Over 445,000[3] Karmann Ghias were produced in Germany over the car's production life — not including the Type 34 variant. Karmann Brazil produced 41,600 cars locally for South America between 1962 and 1975.

Salam brother, Great collection. Can i please know where did you get these models from? because my father had the toyota celica 1975 model back in the days when it was launched and i wanted to gift him this model (for his good memories in that car). Regards.
