Congrats on your new car, you got plenty of extra options which i dont even have in my A3 1.8tfsi sedan. Is it COD 1.4tfsi or normal 1.4tfsi?

EDIT: just saw the spec lists, its non-cod 1.4tfsi

Thanks - I'm not sure if it has cylinder on demand. It does have efficiency mode though which should ideally cut off the extra cylinders

efficiency mode or eco mode is quite different from cylinder on demand, it shut off two cylinders for better fuel average. Anyhow your is 125hp or 140hp? There was one UK imported A3 1.4tfsi hatchback with S-line kit in Isb and also it was for sale.

Got a call from Audi that they have received the replacement part for the broken plastic housing of the drivers side mirror. They will also do a full valet inside and out for free. The dealership first offered that I could drop my car and drive away in a complimentary car as they will take a day however I am busy that day so they have agreed to collect the car from my house and drop it once they're done.
All of this will be done for free.

Congratulations man. Good job with the photography, also, I'm really digging the hatchback A3, looks a lot better than I expected it to.

Good to see Audi taking care of it's customers that way, it's these little things that make all the difference.

An excellent review and great photos. There is no doubt an Audi is a pleasure to own and drive. Hope to do so if I can. It's also good to experience other car makers apart from the 3 available here. Enjoy your ride and drive safe

The dealership collected the car from my house and changed the drivers side mirrors casing, gave it a full valet and checked the brakes. I asked them to check the brakes because I can hear a whirring sound coming from the wheels/engine when the car start/stops in traffic.The brakes were all fine. They even sent a video to me showing that they have checked them in detail.

So I have had this car for about 6 months now and have driven around 5,000 miles in it. I have driven all over England in this and it is very enjoyable to drive. The sport mode is excellent for B roads like narrow country lanes.

I got my first complimentary tuning a few days ago. The Audi dealership collected the car from my house, checked it thoroughly, send a video camera footage of what they had done and then dropped it home all polished and fully valeted.

This was all free of charge however did show me a bill of 165 GBP for "information purposes"

Unfortunately the car developed a whirring noise coming from the engine. Initially it was not very noticeable. It would come up whenever I would drive the car for long periods and then start stop it in traffic. I called Audi and they advised me to come to the dealership and demonstrate it to them. When I went there, the car was absolutely fine and after a road test of 30 minutes, I could not reproduce that sound. They advised me to record it next time it happened which I did and emailed it to them. They still could not pinpoint it.
They then asked me to try to reproduce that sound again and advised me to drop the car at 8 AM after demonstrating that noise and get a courtesy car so that they could investigate and fix it this once and for all.

So I drove it from 7 AM to 755 AM and managed to reproduce the sound. The dealership mechanic felt it was a "bearing" noise and advised me to leave the car with him and gave me a courtesy car

They gave me this audi A1. It was a 1.4 TFSI S line model.
It was extremely fast and light. In sports mode it was actually scary.

2 days later, the dealership called me to inform me that they had identified the fault. They said that the main center of the S tronic gearbox, known as Mechatronics and its bearings needed replacement. They said it will be covered under the 2 year warranty and the car would remain under warranty.
It took them a day to remove the gearbox and clutch and then replace the required parts.
They then called me and asked me to see a video they had made on what they had done.
After a few hours, they called me again to inform me that my car was ready to picked

My car was all valeted and polished again. The sound had gone and after driving it for a few hours, I could not hear it any longer.

The bill they showed me for "information purposes" was 1060 GBP.

This was all done for free.
