Its a Special Edition 1999 model with original red/black interior.
Fresh import from Japan. 80,400 Km with 10k km driven in uae.
Super-charged Inline-4, 2.3 Ltr producing 193bhp with Tiptronic transmission and Cruise-Control
(though seller told me that ecu is chipped to pull 210bhp, but I'm not sure about that rite now)
Front Projectors, Navigation, Blue tooth, 6 cd-changer, 1st Aid Kit, parking triangle, Merc Trunk Cleaners etc. etc. came along..
and the most enjoyable part; Hardtop Convertible
All original and each n every thing is working.

Is Japan is the production country of the car or it was used in Japan under its first owner? The interior pic you shown is of a LHD vehicle that surely can not complete 70k kms in Japan as only RHD cars can be driven in Japan. Just clear this confusion of mine.

Production country is Germany. Imported in Japan 1st and then Imported in UAE from Japan. Millage at time of import in UAE was 70k, I don't have full history of car, might be possilbe that car mostly driven in Germany and then imported in Japan and moved to UAE via Japan, as no shifting of RHD/LHD is done. But for sure it came from Japan in orignal specs as clearance documents suggest

I've surfed on net and found that tourists and expats are allowed to drive LHD in Japan
& Many LHD cars are exported from Japan to whole world: http://www.exportcar.jp/en/mfaq/109
